Membership

Q: How much does it cost to join the CWGF Supporters?

A: An annual donation of £30.

Q: Who can join the CWGF Supporters?

A: Anyone aged 18+ is eligible.

Q: When does my membership start?

A: You can start to use your membership as soon as you receive your order confirmation email with your membership number. Your membership will be processed and will start shortly after you join online.

Q: When I sign up as a CWGF Supporter what will I receive?

A: You will receive a welcome pack containing a welcome letter from the Director General of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, your membership card and souvenir card holder, plus a car sticker.

Q: What is my membership number?

A: Your membership number is printed on the back of your CWGF Supporters card.

Q: Why haven’t I received my welcome pack yet?

A: You should receive it within 28 days of joining the CWGF Supporters scheme. If it’s been longer than that and you still haven’t received your pack please contact us: by email at supporters@cwgc.org or by telephone on +44 (0)1628 507 278. Phone lines are open UK time 9am-5pm Monday-Thursday, 9am-4.30pm on Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.

Q: Why haven’t I received my copy of the CWGF Supporters newsletter yet?

A: Please check your junk email or spam folders as it might have gone there instead of into your inbox. If you still can’t see it please email us on supporters@cwgc.org.

Q: How do I renew my membership?

A: Your membership will be renewed automatically on the anniversary of your joining the scheme unless you notify us of your wish to cancel your membership at least seven days in advance.

Online safety and data protection

Q: How is the CWGF adopting the recommended internet safety and data protection protocols?

A: Personal information (such as name and address) that members submit will only be used for the purposes outlined at the time of collection or registration, and the Foundation will not pass this information to any third party. This complies with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Q: Where will all the membership data be stored?

A: All data will be stored securely on our website database.
